We are pleased to announce an opening for a Financial Analyst position on Laurie Lustig-Bower's Team in CBRE Inc.'s Beverly Hills/Century City office.
Our team has has handled over $4.1 billion in real estate transactions in the past seven years alone. We focus on sales of apartment buildings, condominium conversions/reversions and land to develop apartment buildings or condominium communities in the Greater Los Angeles area. The team is led by Laurie Lustig-Bower who has been with CBRE for 24 years.
Job Description:
Collect and review historical income and expense information of apartment buildings in order to estimate a property’s upcoming year performance
|
Create discounted cash flow models in order to calculate the financial performance of a property using IRR, NPV, etc.
|
Interface with client in order to understand property performance and unique characteristics of a property
|
Gather and analyze market information such as sales and rent comparables through various third-party services
|
Maintain current knowledge and trends of apartment and development financing
|
Research the development potential for land (i.e. zoning laws, ordinances, construction costs, etc.)
|
Use development models in order to calculate land residual values
|
Lead and manage various internal projects
|
Lead and manage marketing budgets and liaison with office manager and accounts payable department |
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree, quantitative majors such as finance or economics preferred |
2+ years experience in the multi-family real estate industry
|
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
|
Problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills required
|
Meticulous attention to detail
|
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet stringent deadlines.
|
Live locally or be willing to relocate
|
Preferences:
Knowledge of apartment and mixed use development analysis such as zoning analysis, construction types, development returns, etc. |
Strong understanding of technology and website services that can be applied to business processes |
Prefer California real estate sales agent license
