Commercial Real Estate Women - Los Angeles (CREW-LA) was formed in 1984 and is part of a nationally recognized organization. While one of CREW-LA’s chief goals is to promote the advancement of women in commercial real estate, CREW-LA is also a multi-disciplinary group that brings together both men and women from a variety of real estate professions. Member professions include developers, investors, brokers, lenders, appraisers, consultants, title and escrow representatives, asset managers, space planners, accountants, property managers, architects, and attorneys.  CREW-LA Members have access to a private national directory of every CREW member to assist with referrals and expertise in various aspects of real estate. Members also have access to a listing of Chapter members as well as a Chapter Bio Book that allows in-depth information about each member and their areas of expertise. Other benefits of being a member include access to an on-line job bank, both through the local CREW-LA website as well as the CREW Network national job bank.

Members of CREW-LA can enhance their professional development and awareness through our monthly educational programs focused on commercial real estate, networking and developing relationships with other key deal makers in the industry, their attendance at the national conferences and seminars, and by volunteering to be on a committee or the board of directors. In 2006, CREW-LA established an endowment fund in partnership with the UCLA Anderson School of Management – Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate. This fund, known as the CREW-LA/Chris Adams Scholarship Endowment Fund, will provide scholarships and grants for graduate students focused on commercial real estate.
