Experience
Shireen Enayati joined McKenna Long & Aldridge in 2004 and is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. Her practice involves all aspects of real estate development, with a focus on site acquisition and development for major retail tenants. In addition to the Real Estate practice, Ms. Enayati also supports the Government Contracts Practice Group in cross-over, GSA Leasing, and bid protests matters.

In connection with an aggressive, multi-state retail rollout, Ms. Enayati has served as lead counsel on more than 60 major commercial retail projects throughout Southern California and Nevada in the past two years. She has experience in other related real estate areas including land use, zoning, entitlements, development and real estate based litigation. Coupled with her general commercial leasing practice, Ms. Enayati also has experience with GSA Leasing.  In addition to her real estate practice, Ms. Enayati also has experience with general commercial and government contract litigation, as well as assisting clients to resolve breach of contract claims and bid protest matters.   

Ms. Enayati has been referenced in the media by a variety of national publications. In addition to her real estate experience, she has focused her efforts in the international legal arena where she has served as a speaker and panelist for several legal conferences addressing human rights law, and the role of women in the practice of law.

Ms. Enayati received the 2009 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award presented by the Los Angeles County Bar Association Real Property Section. She was also recognized as a Rising Star in 2010 and 2009 by Super Lawyers magazine. 

During law school Ms. Enayati was an Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, a member of the Byrne Trial Advocacy Team, and a judicial extern to the Honorable R. Gary Klausner, United States District Court, Central District of California. She earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature and Iranian Studies from the University of California Los Angeles.
