After graduating from UCLA in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, Ms. Robinson began in the real estate industry as an appraiser and then mortgage broker. In 1989 she began her career in title insurance.
In her many years in the real estate industry she has gained invaluable experience assisting her fellow industry members in expediting and closing the sale and financing of real property.
Ms. Robinson’s day-to-day business activities alone keep her on the leading edge of the commercial real estate industry. Additional involvement with related trade associations such as serving on the Board of Commercial Real Estate Women of Los Angeles (CREW-LA) and being an affiliate member of The American Industrial Real Estate Association (AIR), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), CCIM and The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) serve to augment her extensive knowledge and keep her up to date with industry trends.
Ms. Robinson was honored with “The Best Commercial Title Professional” award for the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s 2005 “Honoring Women in Commercial Real Estate”. She was also nominated for the 2003 and 2005 “Women Who Mean Business” awards also presented by The San Fernando Valley Business Journal. She is the founder of “Tori Robinson Presents”, a networking and philanthropic group for professional women in the Los Angeles area and she sits on the Nominating Committee for the Girl Scouts of the San Fernando Valley.
In her personal time she enjoys philanthropy, hosting dinner parties and playing live music. She is married and resides in Calabasas, California.
