Kim Kearney, MAI, ASA, CCIM

Kim Kearney has over 20 years experience in the real estate industry. She is also a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and a Real Estate Broker in the State of California. In 1986, she founded K3 Investments, a full-spectrum real estate firm which provides clients with appraisal, consulting, and brokerage services. K3 Investments provides in-depth valuation services for underwriting, assessment appeals, eminent domain proceedings, marital and partnership dissolution, estate purposes, feasibility studies, litigation support, arbitration, mediation, bankruptcy court, and charitable contributions. K3 Investments also has extensive experience in transaction analysis, strategic planning, lease re-negotiations, acquisition and disposition, due diligence, market studies, lease audits and lease abstracts. She has worked closely with redevelopment agencies, legal entities, city agencies, non-profit organizations, various corporations, investors, and individual property owners. Companies such as Department of Airports, U.S. General Services Administration, San Gabriel Mountain Conservancy, Los Angeles County Redevelopment Agency, and City of Pasadena have benefited from K3 Investments broad-range of services. Organizations such as U.C.L.A. have found her lease analysis and abstracting skills invaluable in reviewing their entire lease portfolio.

K3 Investments is recognized as a County of Los Angeles Community Business Enterprise and Small Business by the Department of General Services, State of California. The Metropolitan Transit Authority granted K3 Investments the following certifications: Small Business Enterprise, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (SBE/DBE/WBE). Kim has volunteered on numerous real estate related boards from Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) as a Newsletter Editor and Web Page Chair to Real Property Chair for the Los Angles Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers. Kim currently serves on the National Valuation for Financial Reporting (VFR) Project Team for the Appraisal Institute.
