Janet Doud: Vice President; Southern California Regional Sales, OREXCO
Janet began her career in 1031 exchanges in 1988. She opened the Southern California office of OREXCO, (Old Republic Exchange Company) seven years later. One of twenty five Old Republic offices in the nation, the Los Angeles office is consistently one of the top revenue producing. Janet’s considerable experience has involved facilitating a diversity of 1031 transactions, including reverse and build to suit exchanges. As an approved California Department of Real Estate instructor, she regularly teaches a course titled, “1031 Exchanges in Today’s Market”. Janet received her Certified Exchange Specialist designation from the Federation of Exchange Accommodators when it was first offered in 2003.
She graduated magna cum laude in Business Administration from Cal Poly, Pomona, and is an affiliate member of several business-related organizations, such as the California Escrow Association, CCIM, the American Industrial Real Estate Association and Lambda Alpha International.
Janet believes that community service is an important part of doing business. She is a past director and member of the Rotary Club of Los Angeles, and a Paul Harris Fellow, a director of the Neighborhood Music School in Boyle Heights, a member of the San Marino City Club, and is a past board member of the Pasadena Symphony Association.
